What the idiots in the comments are forgetting about is that Skateboarding is hardly a powerlifting sport. No one’s saying men don’t have an advantage in sports. What they are saying is the sport she’s in, is not such a sport at all. Seriously, what the guys do she can do if she applied herself. She didn’t come 2nd place because the trans person was able to lift the 2-5 pound board easier lol. It’s like saying create a female only division for playing pool….Dumbasses.
I support conversations about fairness and equality.
If the born gender bears nothing on the outcome, we should be able to have fair, equal, mixed gender competitions. If we cannot, we should review why not. Then that should be used to make create fair and equal comps.
