Dude, I have been following your writing and just felt I had to hit you up after reading this one.
Amazing fucking work man, for real!
I am also writing in the same tone that you are. My name is Steve Connerton, an old washed up Skateboarder from Philly trying to change the game for the better with https://skateboardingsaves.org
Pops, we don’t deserve you. This was incredible. Thank you for laying this out in such a concise manner. Fuck gator, fuck oblow, and fuck the nine club.
I know this will get deleted but I gotta say, this is some seriously piss-poor writing, especially in a piece that's designed to criticise the democratisation of mass communication. How can you take yourself seriously as someone critiquing someone's inferiority to journalism and the problems that produces, then go on to speak like a stoned teenager? I get that you're some white male from a first world country and getting upset without really knowing why but spending a lot of time on it online is what you people do, but maybe in a few years revisit this embarrassment of an editorial.
It reminds me of that interview on I think it was Dylan’s epicly laterd where he says ‘even models’ were by Dylan’s bed when he passed. Wow. Models. It was in such poor taste.
Oblow ... Not his finest moment before or after. As if the whole skating world didnt know what happened already, that was just flat out ignant. The Nine Club had that part edited out after a day or 2 once the backlash came. No reason to trash them. They got an awesome show, bridging the gap between different generations of skaters.
Also maybe one too many trigger warnings in this . Like built in drama over something that happend 30 years ago.
I disliked thenineclub handling of this situation all the way to their apology but I do agree that this group are not news reporters or journalists. From that clip alone it looked like they had no idea how to properly responded to that.

What you mean 'You people" .... Honkies? Maybe take your own advice in a few years kook....
Jesus lol. It’s frankly astonishing that someone who writes as poorly as you do would criticize someone else’s style.

So on point here. His pseudo apology says everything about this guy.
Thank you thank you. Very well said.

Sticks and stones will break my bones but words will never hurt me.

Dudes a major narcissist, posts Dylan all the time to remind everyone why he’s in the industry. Just milking it… fucking cringe.
Toxic masculinity is the biggest threat we face in this new world and should be addressed as such.
